The Hall of Fame is updated each year to tell the stories of new inductees. These extraordinary Andersonians have succeeded in influencing history and gaining recognition, be it through business, politics, military feats, innovation, agriculture, or other endeavors.

Nominations

A nominee must have been deceased for at least ten (10) years by nomination deadline. The nominee must have been an upstanding citizen of good moral character and may not have ever been convicted of a felony crime. The nominee must have been a resident of Anderson County at some point.  (Note: Anderson County includes the Pendleton District prior to December 18, 1826.)   Applications will be considered for five consecutive years before being placed in inactive status. Anderson County Museum Advisory Committee

The Anderson County Museum Advisory Committee was established in 1983 when the museum was founded. Our Advisory Committee members are passionate about the preservation of history and the importance of education. They host community events throughout the year, including the Anderson County Museum Hall of Fame.
