Own A Piece of Anderson History

FlierIt is unclear exactly when the original slate shingles of the courthouse would have been replaced with these tiles. Conjecture has suggested as early as 1926, but this is unconfirmed and seems to be disputed by photographs. The tiles were certainly on the roof after completion of the courthouse remodel ca. 1938-1939 during which the turret was removed.
