Book a Tour of Anderson County Museum

Organizations or groups of 10 or more can book a tour of the Anderson County Museum. Tours are given by our volunteer docents and last between 45 minutes to one hour. Please book your tour at least three weeks in advance. All tours are a general overview of the museum.

To book your tour, we need:

• Date and time of the tour you are requesting
• Number of people in your party
• An email for confirmation

The Anderson County Museum exhibits are handicap accessible. Accessible parking is available in front of the facility entrance for vehicles displaying the appropriate disability permits. This parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a drop-off only area, allowing a driver to drop a disabled passenger off at the entrance to the museum. A wheelchair is available free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please request it at our visitor’s desk. The museum is also equipped with accessible restrooms and drinking fountains.
