This World War II era tank radio was brought home by US Marine James K. (Jake) Phillips of Belton during his tours of duty in World War II and Korea. As equipment was being thrown away or salvaged, Phillips brought the discarded equipment home. According to the family history, he tuned into local radio stations while in his workshop at home.
