This walkie-talkie radio known officially as the AN/PRC 6 or unofficially as the “Banana radio” or “Prick 6” was designed and used by the US Military by the end of the Korean War to the early 1970s. Though we don’t know what unit carried this radio, small stickers reveal “Co. E.” and “3rd Platoon” near the mouthpiece.
