V for Victory: This postcard photograph is our artifact of the week.  It shows more than two hundred WAC, Women’s Army Corps, members standing in a “V for Victory” on Daytona Beach in June 1943. Beatrice J. Hillhouse of Anderson, one of the women in the formation, enlisted in the WAC in February of 1943 and sent this postcard to her sister-in-law Rosa Lee Hillhouse.
