It’s easy to volunteer at the Anderson County Museum.

Volunteers and Interns must be at least 16 years old. Our volunteers sit at the front desk of the museum one time each month for a three hour shift.  Volunteers meet, greet, and count museum visitors.  Interested in getting involved? Our volunteers are essential in keeping our doors open and our exhibits free. Please consider giving your time to the Anderson County Museum. We are always looking for volunteers to greet patrons or help during events. If you are 16+ years old you can earn service hours for clubs and organizations, meet people, and immerse yourself in stories from Anderson and South Carolina.

There will be a one hour training session for those interested in volunteering at our front desk. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to set a time for a training session with another volunteer. Dress is business casual.
